Phil, I’ve been enjoying both your Tuesday birds and Friday Polaroids. I was in the UP in early March, cross-country skiing in the Porkies. Tons of heavy, wet snow. Do you have a source of Polaroid film?
Take care,
Steve
Hi Steve!
Erin and I are gearing up for a trip to the U.P. this summer as well. We’ll be staying in a cabin on Superior and taking day trips to the Porkies, up into the Keweenaw, and of course Pictured Rocks. I’ve never visited the U.P. in wintertime, so I’m a little jealous of your experience.
The Polaroid camera I’m now using is the new Classic 300. It’s available at polaroid’s website for quite cheap:

The film is also available through Polaroid’s site:

I’ve seen the film for 2 dollars cheaper at Target and Meijer in Ann Arbor, but it’s not always on the shelf. If you’re willing to cruise the internet there are probably a number of retailers offering bulk discounts.
LOVE the polaroid Fridays. Big improvement from most of the blogs I follow with Flannel Board Fridays. I’m not a flannel board girl.
I’ve been trying to find an email address to contact you. We corresponded last year but you must no longer be using the account I have on file.
